🔶 Hagset rejects Washington Post report on U.S. troops’ casualties

Pete Hagset, the (war) U.S. Defense Minister, rejected a Washington Post report about an increase in U.S. troops’ casualties in the war with Iran. The newspaper had reported that, in addition to 18 confirmed deaths attributed to the Pentagon, at least four other servicemembers had also been killed.

On the X social network, Hagset called the report “disgusting,” “fake,” and “completely false,” and, with sharp criticism of the Washington Post, described the newspaper as worse than the Islamic Republic of Iran’s state media.
