Haddad Adel on the new Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic: They are not connected to anyone or anywhere, but God willing, they are well

🔸Five months after the death of Ali Khamenei and the announcement of his son Mojtaba Khamenei as his successor, Gholamali Haddad Adel, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council and the father-in-law of the new Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, says that the new leader “is not connected to anyone or anywhere, but God willing, they are well.”

🔸In the first days of the joint attack by the United States and Israel on Iran, which ended with the death of Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei, according to multiple reports, was severely injured at the same location. Less than two weeks later, he was introduced as the new Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, but to date, neither his voice has been heard nor has any video been released.

🔸Haddad Adel’s remarks also suggest that after the deadly attack of 9 Esfand 1404, he still has not seen his son-in-law. Another official of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araqchi, also said in a new interview published last week that he still has not been able to meet Mojtaba.

🔸These kinds of statements have strengthened the speculation that perhaps Mojtaba Khamenei also died in the attacks.

Iran’s Labor News Agency, ILNA, also quoted Haddad Adel in this context, saying: “Since he was not seen at the ceremony of the martyr leader, questions have been raised about his condition. Do you have any information about the state of the Leader?”

🔸In response, Gholamali Haddad Adel said: “God willing, Agha Mojtaba is well. For now, due to certain matters, he is not in contact with any place or any people, but God willing, he is well.”
