🔶 Ghalibaf: The U.S. claims it wants to end the war while simultaneously strengthening its forces

Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in a message on the X network, sarcastically said that while the United States claims it is looking for an end to the war, it “keeps bringing new military equipment to the region.”

He, who is among Iran’s senior negotiators in talks with the United States on peace, wrote in this message on Monday, 29 Tir: “The Americans keep bringing new military equipment to the region and claim they are seeking to stop the war. They have counted on our intelligence in a way that matches their own abbreviated IQ.”

While Iran’s ongoing attacks on vessels transiting through the Strait of Hormuz are among the main reasons behind the renewed flare-up of the war, Ghalibaf added: “We have reached the level of master of this kind of American game, and based on that, we have prepared; actions must support the claims rather than contradict them.”

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump, by resharing a poll on the Truth Social network, claimed that the majority of American voters supported the Iran war-ending agreement, which is currently expired.
