German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is destroying the country despite having an approval rating of just 10%, and 90% of Germans understand this, Russian Presidential Special Envoy for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and Russian Direct Investment Fund CEO Kirill Dmitriev said on X.

“90% of Germans understand that Merz, with 10% approval, is destroying Germany through warmongering, migration, energy blunders, refusal to change his failing course. He will resign soon, and you should turn the Munich Security Conference from a NATO fiefdom into a real peace platform,” Dmitriev wrote in response to a user’s comment on his post in which the envoy criticized the German chancellor’s tenure.
