🔶 Fresh claims by Iranian officials about the weapons of the armed forces

Mohammad Akraminia, the spokesperson for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, said that the army has increased its combat and defensive readiness through “the reconstruction of existing systems,” the introduction of new equipment, and reliance on domestic capabilities.

Although he said that “air defense is the main defensive priority for protecting vital infrastructure,” he did not explain what has been done to strengthen this air defense.

Based on objective evidence and expert assessments, the Islamic Republic lacks an advanced air force in its defensive system due to the absence of a domestic industry and international sanctions, and its weak air defenses have been further weakened by U.S. and Israeli military actions in the two recent wars more than before.
