🔺Four thousand hemophilia patients have had no medicines for eight months

▪The managing director of the Iranian Hemophilia Association said that more than four thousand hemophilia patients for over eight months have not had sufficient access to the medicines they need, and a child died in Sistan and Baluchestan because of a lack of medicine.

▪He said that the Food and Drug Organization has not spent even “one dollar” in the past eight months to supply the needs of these patients.

▪The Food and Drug Organization has announced that, based on the crisis management protocol, medicines have been prioritized for importation. In the organization’s explanation, it states that priority is given to products that “have a wider scope of need in society and whose health depends on them more broadly.”
