🔻Following the increase in the number of teams in the top-tier football league to 18 and the match calendar becoming more congested to 34 weeks, the executive board of the Football Federation approved new regulations for closing the list of players for the clubs.

🔹In the new resolution, the quota for players under 25 years old was set to “1+2.” Accordingly, one of these three players does not need to have a record of having been on the destination team and will not be counted as a top-tier league quota.

🔹Also, the capacity to sign players under 23 years old increased from 8 to 10 players, and the direct purchase quota from other top-tier league teams rose from 7 to 8 players.

🔹The latest regulatory change concerns the seating arrangement on the bench; where the combination of “9 senior and 2 under-21” has been replaced by “9 senior and 2 under-23” so that coaches have more flexibility for substitutions.
