🔻Following the Houthis’ attacks on airports and oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia, the country’s energy minister threatened the Houthis with a “serious” response.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, speaking at the global energy meeting in Riyadh, said: “The events of recent weeks have been serious. Our response must be as serious.”
On Monday, Riyadh’s international airport suspended almost all of its flights for the second day in a row, after three deadly attacks in recent days.
Saudi Arabia has said that yesterday, in an attack on one of the airport’s terminals in Riyadh, a Pakistani citizen was killed. Two days ago, a Houthi missile hit another terminal, killing 13 people and shutting down that terminal.
The Houthis said they carried out these attacks in response to Saudi Arabia’s “brutal aggression” against areas under their control in western Yemen.
The Houthi-controlled Ministry of Health said that in Saudi Arabia’s airstrike yesterday on a home in Sanaa, the Yemeni capital, a child was killed and six others were injured.
