🔸 After reports of explosion sounds near Riyadh, the U.S. State Department on Saturday, 28 Shahrivar, warned that there is a possibility that hostility and clashes between Saudi Arabia and Shiite Houthi rebels backed by the Islamic Republic could escalate “rapidly.”

🔸 On Saturday, 28 Shahrivar, following reports of explosions in Riyadh, a large column of smoke was seen near the main airport of Saudi Arabia’s capital.

🔸 The Houthi rebels, backed by the Islamic Republic of Iran and in control of the most densely populated areas of Yemen and much of the north of the country, have carried out attacks against Saudi Arabia and targeted Saudi ships in the Red Sea since Saudi Arabia announced its naval blockade in July.
