The Financial Times, citing sources close to the Islamic Republic, reported that the Iranian government is examining an attack on U.S. military targets in Europe so that, if the war escalates, the scope of fighting is drawn into this continent.

According to the report, the Islamic Republic has been considering attacks on U.S. facilities in countries including Bulgaria and Cyprus.
