Fatemeh Pasandideh and Atefeh Ramazanzadeh, two former players of the Iran women’s national football team, received Australian citizenship. The two stayed in Australia after refusing to read the anthem of the Islamic Republic by members of the Iran women’s national football team and requesting asylum.
