🔻Farzaneh Fasihi, an Olympic runner from Iran, wrote in an Instagram post that in recent months she has been under security pressures and, despite having obtained an official quota, the sports institutions of the Islamic Republic have prevented her from registering for the World Championships.

🔹The athlete, who had previously supported the Iranian National Revolution, wrote that due to her stances in support of the people of Iran, she has been threatened repeatedly. Fasihi emphasized that despite months of silence and enduring pressure, she will continue her efforts to “run for the people and her dreams.”
