🔻Fars: Three oil tankers changed course after the Revolutionary Guards’ warning in the Strait of Hormuz

Fars News Agency says that at least three oil tankers and liquefied petroleum gas (LNG) cargo ships that were transiting through the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz changed course after a warning from the Revolutionary Guards.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) says that from the start of the blockade through Sunday, U.S. forces changed the route of 92 commercial vessels, disabled three ships, and seized two ships.

In recent days, attacks by Iran and the United States on oil tankers and commercial ships in the Persian Gulf have intensified.

Yesterday, CENTCOM announced an attack on three Iranian oil tankers which, according to the U.S. Central Command, one of them (the KAILO tanker) fully sank a few hours later and went underwater.

CENTCOM’s attack on Iranian oil tankers was carried out after Iran targeted an aircraft carrier with a ballistic missile and also targeted a U.S. destroyer. CENTCOM says these attacks were unsuccessful.
