Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, said in an interview with the House of ملت news agency on Tuesday, 17 Shahrivar that the Islamic Republic has “proven that it has the power, capability, and credible will to validate its threats, and that the International Atomic Energy Agency should not make a decision that will make it regret it, like the United States.”
Azizi said: “The Islamic Republic has many capacities to confront the Board of Governors and the Security Council, and we will use them in time; capacities that will lead to actions that will be irreparable.”
The head of the National Security Commission added: “We think about our interests, not about one-sided and discriminatory instructions. We clearly and transparently tell the Agency and the Director-General personally to pay attention that Iran is a country on the other side after the war; Iran is different before the 40-day war and after it.”
