During an armed clash in the border village of Siaňaw, in the jurisdiction of Marivan County, an Islamic Republic Army soldier was killed and another servicemember was severely injured. The Islamic Republic Army announced that this attack was carried out by PJAK forces using two suicide drones and RPG rocket fire at one of the Headquarters of the 328th Brigade in Marivan.
