Donald Trump, the president of the United States, wrote on Truth Social on Monday, Mehr 13: “What has caused the increase in gasoline prices is no longer the Strait of Hormuz, because now, almost every day, an unprecedented volume of oil barrels passes through this route and enters the market.”

Trump added: “The main problem is refineries; Russian refineries that he targets because of Ukraine, and U.S. refineries that are shut down in states under Democratic rule, such as California.”
