Donald Trump, the President of the United States, again repeated in a phone interview that Iran is seeking a deal with this country.

News Nation network says Mr. Trump, in a phone interview with Robert Sherman, a reporter for this network, in explaining his recent remarks that he is considering the option of “destroying” Iran, said: “We’ll have to see what happens.”

On Thursday, he had told the Axios news outlet: “I’ll have to make a big decision pretty soon. Do I want to take action and destroy them [the Iranian regime] or not? It’s a big decision. Anything could happen on my part.”

In response to a reporter from News Nation asking what he expects from Iran before making such a decision, he again said that Tehran is seeking to reach an agreement.

He said that Iran, financially and militarily, is “losing in every area.”

Donald Trump added: “If the deal [with Iran] is not the right one, I won’t even think about it; but for now they want a deal, because they are losing in every way.”
