🔻Donald Trump said the military aircraft he returned to the United States on from Turkey was at greater risk of an Iranian attack than the aircraft specifically used by the president of the United States.

Mr. Trump told reporters that on the way back from the NATO summit he acted on the advice of security institutions and returned to the United States on another aircraft, but it was more exposed to risk:

“ I think, in fact, the aircraft I flew on was actually more at risk. I think the risk to that aircraft was higher because I believe the likelihood that they would target it was higher.”

This trip took place about a month ago.

According to reports by U.S. media, a serious Iranian threat to fire missiles at Donald Trump’s aircraft was identified, and he secretly changed his plane while returning from Turkey and transferred it to another aircraft using a food-and-catering truck, and returned to the United States on that aircraft.
