Donald Trump said on Monday, 11 Aban, in an interview with the podcast “Force One” that the Islamic Republic is in decline and emphasized that Tehran should not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.
In response to a question about the necessity of changing the government in Iran, Trump said: “We have eliminated their two governments. So, in a way, we have changed it, but there still needs to be someone you can speak with.”
He also said about negotiations: “We have accommodated them, because we haven’t finished their work. They want to negotiate, but they keep talking, and ultimately at some point we will be forced to make things clear.”
Emphasizing that the Islamic Republic wants an agreement, Trump added that the amount of oil transiting through the Strait of Hormuz is now higher than the level before the start of the war.
