Donald Trump, referring to the order to cancel an attack on the Islamic Republic that he called it “the biggest attack in history after World War II,” said: “We have carried out many big strikes before, but they were ordinary big strikes. I hope they will become sensible, because they cannot have nuclear weapons.”

The U.S. president said: “I think maybe we can reach a result, but I wanted to give the Islamic Republic the last possible opportunity before it is overthrown. This is a big move. Doing such a big attack against a country is not something that I prefer to do.”

Trump added: “If I’m given an opportunity to save the lives of many people, I want to give that opportunity. So I’m not under time pressure.”
