🔻Donald Trump, president of the United States, says a specific new threat has prompted the United States to remove all of its bombers from the RAF Fairford air base in Britain. In a way, Mr. Trump’s remarks are a confirmation of reports by American media that said a new threat, separate from the security incident of last week near the RAF Fairford base, was the reason for the relocation of the United States’ giant bombers.

This comes while, an hour earlier, Marco Rubio told reporters that reporters should not focus only on the security incident near the RAF Fairford base, because the movement of the bombers could have been part of a routine rotation of forces and related equipment.

JD Vance also, on Monday and before traveling to Alaska, said that removing all U.S. bombers from the RAF Fairford air base in Britain was for “greater caution” after the security incident last week near this base.
