Donald Trump announced that Karoline Leavitt will step down as White House spokesperson at the end of this month so she can spend more time with her family and children.

In a message that Trump wrote on Truth Social, he said that after leaving this position, Leavitt will work as one of his senior advisors outside the administration and will continue to be an influential voice in the Republican Party.

The U.S. president, praising Leavitt’s performance, called her one of the best spokespeople in White House history and said this trusted assistant will play a role in the Republicans’ efforts to win in the midterm elections.

Trump also thanked Leavitt for her activities since 2018, including her participation in the 2024 election campaign.
