🔶 Different reactions from regional countries to the speech by the Israeli president in Baku

Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, traveled to Azerbaijan on Wednesday, October 14 (22 Mehr) to meet in Baku with Ilham Aliyev, the President of this country, and Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Herzog thanked Aliyev for his warm reception and called Azerbaijan an “example of stability and a valuable voice” in the international arena.

The Israeli presidential office confirmed that Herzog and Aliyev met at the presidential palace and on the sidelines of the seventh summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA). The two presidents discussed ways to deepen strategic relations between their countries.

They also discussed regional developments and the two countries’ shared commitments to ensuring regional security and stability.
