🔸The downward trend in global oil prices that began on Tuesday of this week, following the publication of reports about the continuation of negotiations between Iran and the United States, continued on Thursday, the ninth of Mehr, as the price of Brent oil fell to below $97 per barrel.

🔸Brent oil had risen on Tuesday, at one point to about $107 per barrel, but after reports emerged about a renewed increase in oil exports from the Persian Gulf region, it took a downward path. The November contract ended that same day with a 2.6% drop, to $102.59.

🔸Oil prices on Wednesday partially made up for the previous day’s decline, but the downward trend resumed on Thursday. The active Brent oil contract for delivery in December fell by about 1.1% to $96.92 per barrel.

🔸West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil in the United States also became 1.4% cheaper on Thursday, reaching $89.18 per barrel.
