Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, said in an interview with CNN that Hamas must be “truly” disarmed and that “cosmetic solutions” for Israel are not acceptable.

He added that the sequence of implementing the steps related to Hamas’s disarmament, the delivery of humanitarian aid, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces to a “yellow line” in Gaza could be discussed and agreed upon in future negotiations with mediators.
