Continuing the upward trend in foreign currency prices in Iran’s free market, the price of the U.S. dollar reached 197,500 tomans on Sunday, the first of Shahrivar, and set a new record.
Each British pound passed 269,000 tomans, and the euro also reached the 230,000-toman mark.
The price of each new-design gold coin, known as “Emami,” reached 214 million tomans.
