🔶 Continued record-breaking in Iran’s currency market; the dollar rate reached 265 thousand tomans

Reports released from Iran’s financial market indicate the continued upward trend in prices and the setting of new records in the gold, coin, and currency markets.

Based on market data, the selling rate of U.S. dollar transfer payments crossed the 265 thousand toman mark and, over a 24-hour period, was traded up to 266 thousand and 100 tomans.

At the same time, in the gold and coin market, Emami coin reached 264 million tomans, and half-coin and quarter-coin rose to 135 million and 400 thousand tomans and 73 million and 400 thousand tomans, respectively.

According to economic analysts, the continued increase in the price of foreign exchange could pave the way for fresh street protests and once again ignite protests in the market.
