The ceremony “Woman, Life, Freedom; a narrative of a revolt, the continuation of a struggle;” was held in this city on September 6, 2026, with the efforts of the “Cologne Alliance” in solidarity with the people of Iran.
Held on the occasion of the anniversary of the Jina uprising—Mahsa Amini—and in remembrance of those killed in Dey 1404, the event provided an opportunity to present different narratives, objectives, and the movement’s outlook from the perspective of years of struggle for Iran.
In this program, political activists, advocates for justice, and defenders of the rights of women and minorities spoke about the necessity of seeking justice, the continuation of the struggle to achieve freedom and equality, the right to self-determination, the right to bodily autonomy, the political and social situation in Iran, and the necessity of collective work.
The program included speeches, honoring advocates for justice and those harmed by the Mahsa Amini movement, a film screening, music and protest rap performances, reading a statement, and an art and book exhibition.
