🔶 CIA “doubt” about the Israeli report and Iran’s threat against Trump

The Washington Post, citing U.S. officials, reported that the United States’ intelligence and spy agency (CIA) had not found the information provided by Israel regarding the threat of the Islamic Republic against Trump and his assassination to be convincing, and had assessed that information as having a “low degree of confidence.”

Despite these doubts, the U.S. Secret Service carried out a complex and covert operation to get the country’s president out of Turkey after a NATO meeting in Ankara.

According to a Washington Post report, Israel had provided the CIA with information related to the plot to assassinate Trump, but analysts at the intelligence agency had doubts about its credibility. One U.S. official assessed the information as “derived from Israel and not produced by the United States” and described it as having a “low degree of confidence.”
