👈 China’s J-36 sixth-generation fighter jet was observed again today in daily test flights.

This is a very large tailless, three-engine stealth aircraft (about 22 meters long, over 50 tons) — up to five prototype units are now flying, with design changes observable between them.

Recent developments include a structural mock-up shown on September 15 and an airborne laser system with a power of about 100 kilowatts that was displayed alongside images of the J-36 at an exhibition in Beijing.
