🔻CENTCOM: U.S. forces have changed the route of 64 commercial ships since Iran’s naval blockade

U.S. Central Command in the region, CENTCOM, says that its forces, within the framework of Iran’s naval blockade, have changed the route of 64 commercial ships so far.

According to CENTCOM, U.S. forces disabled three commercial ships by Monday, August 17, and also inspected two other ships to ensure compliance with the regulations.

It has recently been reported that the USS George Washington aircraft carrier is expected to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier in the Middle East soon. The Abraham Lincoln has been on mission for more than 250 days, and the prolonged deployment of the carrier and limited port calls have raised concerns among a number of lawmakers about the living conditions of the crew.
