The UK Maritime Trade Operations organization announced that the risk of ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz remained high on Saturday and shipping traffic has sharply decreased.
In its assessment for this week, the British body wrote: "The threat assessment remains high." The risk level for the Strait of Hormuz was assessed as "severe," and for the Gulf of Oman, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait as "significant."
According to a report by the UK Maritime Trade Operations organization: "Despite a slight improvement in the late month of Khordad, the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz has continued to decrease significantly."
