Branch 41 of the Supreme Court upheld the death sentence of Benjamin Naghdi, one of the detainees from the nationwide protests of Dey 1404, which had previously been issued by Branch One of the Revolutionary Court of Shiraz. His lawyer says that despite the issuance of this verdict, a request for a retrial will be submitted to the Supreme Court soon.
