🔶 Bloomberg: Russia is supplying missiles to Iran
Bloomberg on Friday, October 9 (Mehr 17), citing Western officials with knowledge of the matter, reported that despite extensive airstrikes by the United States and Israel, Iran has been able to preserve parts of its missile and drone production facilities and still remains capable of rebuilding its arms arsenal.
According to one of these officials, the Islamic Republic still holds significant stockpiles of ballistic missiles and some anti-ship missiles and can quickly add to their number.
Based on the report, the temporary halt in the United States’ extensive strikes has provided Iran with an opportunity to replenish its missile reserves and prepare for the possibility of hostilities resuming.
This Western official also stated that Russia is supplying missiles to Iran. The assessment is consistent with another Bloomberg report earlier this June about Russian arms and missile assistance to Iran.
However, these assessments are at odds with statements by Donald Trump and other U.S. government officials about the destruction of Iran’s military capabilities and defense industries.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense has not responded to Bloomberg’s request for comment.
