Berlin police spokesperson said Sunday, in an interview with reporters, that a suspect in a vehicle attack on a Pride march in Berlin has been identified and is one of the members of the city’s “Islamist current,” but has not yet been arrested.

According to the police, following a car rushing into a crowd, one person was killed and at least 15 others were injured, and some suffered fatal injuries.

In the wake of the attack, the organizers of the Berlin Pride Parade canceled the event.

Some state media of the Islamic Republic, in their reports, called the attack an “under-capture operation.”
