Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, posted a message on the X social network after publishing a video of his conversation with Donald Trump, the U.S. president, following Trump’s announcement of his support for him in the election.

Netanyahu wrote in the message: “You and my friend, President Trump, will eliminate the threat of the Islamic Republic forever together.”

In the conversation, Netanyahu told Trump: “The people of America should know that you are standing against the greatest danger that threatens them, namely the Islamic Republic’s acquisition of nuclear weapons. We will not allow such a thing to happen.”

He also said: “We know that we can expand the Abraham Accords that were shaped under your leadership. Our cooperation has shown that we can do amazing things together.”

Trump also told Netanyahu: “You are a great warrior, and very soon we will prove it. Bibi, you are the one I want by my side.”
