Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, in an interview with the program “Border Guard,” while referring to the fact that “the Middle East is no longer the Middle East it used to be, and the Islamic Republic is no longer what it used to be,” said about the reason the Islamic Republic has not launched an attack on Israel: “If they fire, they will receive a very heavy blow. A very, very heavy blow. This will no longer be a normal response.”

Netanyahu added: “I’m not saying that they cannot fire at us, and I’m not saying that they won’t do it, but so far they have not fired at us.”

The Israeli prime minister said: “The Islamic Republic has taken heavy hits. Of course, it still has capabilities; we see this in the Persian Gulf region.”
