Bahrain’s foreign minister, in a call with his Pakistani counterpart, announced his country’s support for the “Makkah” defense agreement among the three countries of Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.

Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, in this call, told Muhammad Ishaq Dar, First Deputy Prime Minister and Pakistan’s foreign minister, that he intends to travel to Islamabad soon.

Pakistan’s foreign minister also, in this call, while thanking Bahrain for its positions, emphasized his country’s firm commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy to achieve peace and stability in the region and beyond.

Pakistan is considered the main mediator between the United States and the Islamic Republic.

During the military clashes between the two sides, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic repeatedly carried out missile and drone attacks against Bahrain.
