🔶 August: The U.S. Army is at an unprecedented level of full readiness to attack Iran

Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, warned that his country’s armed forces, despite the cancellation of a military strike against the Islamic Republic, are still “fully ready to act” and at a level of “complete readiness that has not been seen since World War II to this day.”

Hegseth released a video of Donald Trump’s conversation with reporters on the presidential aircraft in which the U.S. president, in response to a question, said that the United States had been planning an attack that would have been “the biggest attack since World War II and would have been disastrous for them [the Iranian regime].”

Trump claimed that at the last moment, after requests from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and also Iran, he canceled the order to carry out a new wave of attacks against the Islamic Republic.

He also said that a new round of negotiations with Iran would begin from Monday afternoon, 12 Mordad. This while the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied the matter.
