Aseyeh Aminie, a social issues analyst, said that the increase in executions and the continuous publication of news related to them are part of the Islamic Republic’s policy to “create fear and terror” in society.

Referring to the lack of information about whether convicted people have access to a lawyer and the course of proceedings, she said that the rush in handling cases, alongside the absence of transparency and accountability, has put families under constant anxiety. She emphasized that society should not allow executions and death to become commonplace.
