Amid ongoing uncertainty about the progress of US and the Islamic Republic’s talks regarding the Strait of Hormuz, oil prices rose in futures trading.
Brent crude oil increased by 0.81% to $80.09 per barrel, while US crude oil (WTI) also rose by 0.76% to $75.80 per barrel.
Murban crude and the OPEC oil basket each recorded price increases of 1.41% and 1.16%, respectively, while the price of natural gas in the United States fell by 0.56%.
