🔶 Army spokesperson: Iran’s military doctrine has moved toward an aggressive approach
Mohammad EgharimiNia, the spokesperson for the Iranian army, called “Iranian geopolitical awakening” “one of the achievements of war,” and said that the Strait of Hormuz’s capacity could play a “decisive” role in advancing the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic and increasing Iran’s geopolitical influence.
EgharimiNia also said that, during the 12- and 40-day wars, Iran’s military doctrine had gradually “shifted from a defensive posture to an aggressive approach.”
He emphasized that this change does not necessarily mean “carrying out preemptive attacks,” but he claimed that the attack on the U.S. base in Jordan was an example of such an approach.
The Iranian army spokesperson said the status of the three Sukhoi 24 pilots after the attack on the U.S. base in Qatar is still “unclear.” According to him, the status of these pilots is being followed up through legal and diplomatic channels.
