🔶 America Rejects UN Inquiry Committee Report on Alleged War Crimes in Iran

The United States rejected the assessment by a UN Human Rights Council-appointed investigative team regarding the possibility that the United States committed war crimes in Iran.

Anna Kelly, a White House spokesperson, dismissed the report, saying the Human Rights Council “has produced no achievements for human rights, while for decades it has been raising baseless and unserious claims.”

In its latest report, the UN’s independent fact-finding committee on Iran said, “There is sufficient evidence” to indicate that the United States may be responsible for military attacks on a school in Minab and a sports complex in Larestan, and that these attacks could constitute a “war crime.”

Iranian media say that, in the “U.S. attack” on the “Shajare Tayyebe” elementary school in Minab on Bahman 9, (February 28), more than 150 people—most of them schoolchildren—were killed.
