Ali Khosravi, 28, a resident of Shahinshahr, Isfahan, was killed on 18 Dey 1404 (January 8, 2026) by direct gunfire from the Islamic Republic’s suppressive forces; while less than a year and a half had passed since his marriage and his wife was expecting the birth of their child.

Six months later, on 18 Tir 1404 (July 9, 2025), their son was born; but the first meeting between father and child did not happen in his father’s arms—it happened at his grave.

Ataneh Khosravi, Ali’s wife, wrote in a text for this video: “Some meetings happen so late that no hugs are left for them…”

She wrote: “I wish that instead of a cold stone, your warm embrace was there… and instead of my sitting your son on your grave, you were the one holding him in your arms.”

Ali Khosravi never got the chance to see his son; a boy who is now growing bigger every day and who will grow up with a father’s longing—one who never had the chance to hold him in his arms.
