Ahmad Alamolhedi, Friday Prayer Imam in Mashhad and Khamenei’s representative in Razavi Khorasan, said in his remarks during the Friday Prayer that: “We should not allow a woman or a girl without a hijab to enter the university, because the presence of an unveiled person in universities can become a tool for bringing together factors that are linked with one another and want to create unrest in the university.”

Alamolhedi said: “If you allow any manifestation of irreligion in the university, it is like honey around which flies gather, and the hired instigators of unrest gather around it; they connect with one another through it, find each other, and become linked together to disrupt the university system; therefore, such a thing should not be allowed, because the university is a place of worship.”

Khamenei’s representative in Razavi Khorasan added that if the management bodies were unable to stop the matter, then security and judicial bodies should “enter the field of the university with power and fully and decisively confront the enemy’s fifth column in the university and dismantle it.”
