According to the UN, more than 650,000 refugees and asylum-seekers in South Sudan may lose access to food assistance within a few weeks due to severe lack of funding.

The World Food Programme says distribution for 240,000 vulnerable refugees could end after September unless additional funding is provided, and $37 million is needed for operations from October to December.
