According to The Associated Press, thousands of migrants, most of them Moroccan, on Thursday, the 8th of Mordad, entered Ceuta, Spain’s territory in North Africa, from Morocco. Most of them were young men, but families were also seen among them, along with women and children. The local government of Ceuta asked the Spanish government to declare a national state of emergency and to send the army to the border. According to the local body, migrant accommodation centers have been filled after the arrival of more than 1,500 people by sea in the past few days.
