According to reports by Syrian state television Al-Ikhbariya and several other media outlets, early Monday morning, there were severe explosions in the city of al-Ays in the southern suburbs of Aleppo Governorate in northern Syria.

Local sources said the explosions occurred in an important ammunition depot belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Defense.

No information has yet been released about casualties or possible injuries from this incident.

Some sources have reported that the explosions were caused by Israeli airstrikes, and said the ammunition depot targeted was a local site used to store military equipment supported by Turkey.
