🔹According to Israel’s Channel 14 (C14), citing The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has given Israel a list that includes approximately 5 to 10 senior Iranian officials and has asked that these individuals not be targeted for assassination.

As stated in this report, U.S. officials believe these people could play key roles in the future government in the event of a change of government in Iran.

This CIA move has been interpreted as a sign of Washington’s readiness for a regime-change scenario in Iran and its desire to preserve certain figures for the period after that.
