According to Indonesia’s Search and Rescue Agency, on Sunday, 11 Mordad, following a fire on a passenger ship near Madura Island, at least five people were killed and 41 others went missing. The ship, which was traveling from Surabaya in East Java to Makassar in South Sulawesi, had 271 passengers, of whom 225 have been rescued. Search operations are continuing, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
